  • Students in Tuition Guarantee Groups A-T pay limited mandatory student fees. Due to a change in tuition and fee structure starting Fall 2025, students in Tuition Guarantee Groups U and beyond do not pay student fees.
  • Beginning in Summer 2024, students enrolled in 1–3 credit hours will pay tuition per credit hour instead of a flat rate. (CU Boulder Today - Change in tuition)
  • Tuition includes the College Opportunity Fund stipend ($116 per credit hour).

  • The CU/Western Partnership honors the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) and Central Plains (CP) Tuition Discount Program which allows domestic nonresident students to pay 150% of in-state tuition based on state of residence. It is awarded via a scholarship directly from the College of Engineering and Applied Science and is available only for students participating in the partnership program. The University of Colorado Boulder as a whole does not participate in the WUE or CP program. Information on eligibility can be found on Western’s Tuition Discount Program website.
